Explanation
Al-Mutakabbir is the Supremely Great — the One to whom all greatness rightfully belongs. Unlike human arrogance (kibr) which is a sin, Allah's greatness (takabbur) is His right because He alone possesses true greatness. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Greatness is Allah's garment and might is His lower garment" — meaning these attributes belong to Allah exclusively. When humans wear these, they are usurpers.
Virtues & Benefits
Reciting "Ya Mutakabbir" before an important meeting or gathering grants presence and dignity without arrogance. Paradoxically, reflecting on Allah's supreme greatness cures the human disease of arrogance — because you realize how infinitely small you are beside Al-Mutakabbir.

Surah Az-Zumar (39:36)
وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انتِقَامٍ
"Is Allah not sufficient for His servant? And they threaten you with those besides Him. Whoever Allah sends astray — for him there is no guide." - Surah Az-Zumar (39:36)
