Explanation
Al-Mu'min comes from the same root as "iman" (faith) and "amana" (safety, trust). Allah is Al-Mu'min in two senses: (1) He is the one who granted faith (iman) to the believers, and (2) He is the guarantor of security — the One who gives protection from fear. On the Day of Judgment, those who feared Allah will hear: "Enter Paradise in peace and security." Allah is the ultimate source of both belief and safety.
Virtues & Benefits
Reciting "Ya Mu'min" 630 times creates a protective shield around the reciter. Scholars say whoever makes this dhikr sincerely will be protected from the evil of oppressors and enemies. More importantly, Allah grants the heart of the reciter a deeper, more unshakeable iman.
