Explanation
Al-Kabir is the Incomparably Great. His greatness is not physical size, but absolute grandeur in essence, power, and existence. Everything else is small (saghir) in comparison. This is why Muslims say "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is Greater) — greater than our problems, greater than our fears, greater than the world. Al-Kabir encompasses all greatness.

The phrase "Allahu Akbar" (Takbeer) is the most repeated phrase in a Muslim's life — used to call to prayer, enter prayer, and celebrate Eid. Reciting "Ya Kabir" 100 times daily is said to grant a person respect and gravitas among their peers.
