Explanation
Al-Ba'ith is the Resurrector, the Awakener. He is the One who will raise the dead from their graves on the Day of Judgment. But He is also the Ba'ith in this life: He awakens hearts from the sleep of heedlessness (ghaflah), He sends (mab'uth) prophets to awaken nations, and He resurrects dead hopes and barren lands. He brings life to what was assumed to be permanently dead.
Virtues & Benefits
Reciting "Ya Ba'ith" 100 times before sleeping, with hands placed on the chest, is mentioned by scholars as a way to awaken the heart with spiritual light and wisdom. It instills a deep, living certainty in the Hereafter.

Surah Al-Hajj (22:7)
وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ مَن فِي الْقُبُورِ
"And [that they may know] that the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - and that Allah will resurrect those in the graves." - Surah Al-Hajj (22:7)
