Explanation
Al-Aziz means the Mighty, the Invincible, the One who is never overcome. The word "Izzah" (honor, might) is the root — and the Quran states that all honor belongs to Allah alone (4:139). Al-Aziz is invincible in three ways: no one can force Him, no one can access Him without His permission, and no one can overcome or diminish Him. This name appears 92 times in the Quran, often paired with Al-Hakim (Wise) or Al-Rahim (Merciful).
