Explanation
Al-Badi' is the Incomparable, the Originator of beauty. "Bid'ah" means something completely unprecedented. Allah is Al-Badi' because He created the universe without any prior blueprint, model, or prototype. His creation is stunningly beautiful and entirely original. Furthermore, He is Incomparable in His essence — there is absolutely nothing like Him in existence.

Reciting "Ya Badi' as-samawati wal-ard" (O Originator of the heavens and earth) is considered one of the ways to invoke the Greatest Name of Allah. It opens the doors of divine inspiration, creativity, and solutions to seemingly unsolvable, unprecedented problems.
