حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَلَى غَيْرِ مَا حَدَّثَنَاهُ الزُّهْرِيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَيْسَ بْنَ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ لاَ حَسَدَ إِلاَّ فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مَالاً فَسُلِّطَ عَلَى هَلَكَتِهِ فِي الْحَقِّ، وَرَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْحِكْمَةَ، فَهْوَ يَقْضِي بِهَا وَيُعَلِّمُهَا ‏"‏‏.‏
Translation:

Narrated `Abdullah bin Mas`ud:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases. (The first is) A person, whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously; (the second is) the one whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Qur'an) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others." (Fath-al-Bari page 177 Vol)

اردو:

ہم سے حمیدی نے بیان کیا، ان سے سفیان نے، ان سے اسماعیل بن ابی خالد نے دوسرے لفظوں میں بیان کیا، ان لفظوں کے علاوہ جو زہری نے ہم سے بیان کئے، وہ کہتے ہیں میں نے قیس بن ابی حازم سے سنا، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ارشاد ہے کہ حسد صرف دو باتوں میں جائز ہے۔ ایک تو اس شخص کے بارے میں جسے اللہ نے دولت دی ہو اور وہ اس دولت کو راہ حق میں خرچ کرنے پر بھی قدرت رکھتا ہو اور ایک اس شخص کے بارے میں جسے اللہ نے حکمت ( کی دولت ) سے نوازا ہو اور وہ اس کے ذریعہ سے فیصلہ کرتا ہو اور ( لوگوں کو ) اس حکمت کی تعلیم دیتا ہو۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ مَنِ اشْتَرَى شَاةً مُحَفَّلَةً، فَرَدَّهَا فَلْيَرُدَّ مَعَهَا صَاعًا‏.‏ وَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ تُلَقَّى الْبُيُوعُ‏.‏
Translation:

Narrated `Abdullah bin Mas`ud:Whoever buys a sheep which has not been milked for a long time, has the option of returning it along with one Sa of dates; and the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade going to meet the seller on the way (as he has no knowledge of the market price and he may sell his goods at a low price)

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے معتمر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے اپنے باپ سے سنا، وہ کہتے تھے کہ ہم سے ابوعثمان نے بیان کیا اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ جو شخص «مصراة» بکری خریدے اور اسے واپس کرنا چاہے تو ( اصل مالک کو ) اس کے ساتھ ایک صاع بھی دے۔ اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قافلہ والوں سے ( جو مال بیچنے لائیں ) آگے بڑھ کر خریدنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
