ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے غندر محمد بن جعفر نے بیان کیا، ان سے شعبہ بن حجاج نے مہاجر ابوالحسن کی روایت سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے زید بن وہب ہمدانی سے سنا۔ انہوں نے ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے مؤذن ( بلال ) نے ظہر کی اذان دی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ٹھنڈا کر، ٹھنڈا کر، یا یہ فرمایا کہ انتظار کر، انتظار کر، اور فرمایا کہ گرمی کی تیزی جہنم کی آگ کی بھاپ سے ہے۔ اس لیے جب گرمی سخت ہو جائے تو نماز ٹھنڈے وقت میں پڑھا کرو، پھر ظہر کی اذان اس وقت کہی گئی جب ہم نے ٹیلوں کے سائے دیکھ لیے۔
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "In very hot weather delay the Zuhr prayer till it becomes (a bit) cooler because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire. The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So Allah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "In very hot weather delay the Zuhr prayer till it becomes (a bit) cooler because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire. ہم سے عمر بن حفص بن غیاث نے بیان کیا کہا مجھ سے میرے باپ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابوصالح ذکوان نے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کے واسطہ سے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ( کہ گرمی کے موسم میں ) ظہر کو ٹھنڈے وقت میں پڑھا کرو، کیونکہ گرمی کی شدت جہنم کی بھاپ سے پیدا ہوتی ہے۔ اس حدیث کی متابعت سفیان ثوری، یحییٰ اور ابوعوانہ نے اعمش کے واسطہ سے کی ہے۔
Narrated Abu Dhar Al-Ghifar:We were with the Prophet (ﷺ) on a journey and the Mu'adh-dhin (call maker for the prayer) wanted to pronounce the Adhan (call) for the Zuhr prayer. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Let it become cooler." He again (after a while) wanted to pronounce the Adhan but the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, "Let it become cooler till we see the shadows of hillocks." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "The severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire, and in very hot weather pray (Zuhr) when it becomes cooler
ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے بنی تیم اللہ کے غلام مہاجر ابوالحسن نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے زید بن وہب جہنی سے سنا، وہ ابوذر غفاری رضی اللہ عنہ سے نقل کرتے تھے کہ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم ایک سفر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے۔ مؤذن نے چاہا کہ ظہر کی اذان دے۔ لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ وقت کو ٹھنڈا ہونے دو، مؤذن نے ( تھوڑی دیر بعد ) پھر چاہا کہ اذان دے، لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ٹھنڈا ہونے دو۔ جب ہم نے ٹیلے کا سایہ ڈھلا ہوا دیکھ لیا۔ ( تب اذان کہی گئی ) پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ گرمی کی تیزی جہنم کی بھاپ کی تیزی سے ہے۔ اس لیے جب گرمی سخت ہو جایا کرے تو ظہر کی نماز ٹھنڈے وقت میں پڑھا کرو۔ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا «يتفيئو» ( کا لفظ جو سورۃ النحل میں ہے ) کے معنے «تتميل» ( جھکنا، مائل ہونا ) ہیں۔
Narrated Anas bin Malik:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came out as the sun declined at midday and offered the Zuhr prayer. He then stood on the pulpit and spoke about the Hour (Day of Judgment) and said that in it there would be tremendous things. He then said, "Whoever likes to ask me about anything he can do so and I shall reply as long as I am at this place of mine. Most of the people wept and the Prophet (ﷺ) said repeatedly, "Ask me." `Abdullah bin Hudhafa As-Sahmi stood up and said, "Who is my father?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your father is Hudhafa." The Prophet (ﷺ) repeatedly said, "Ask me." Then `Umar knelt before him and said, "We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, Islam as our religion, and Muhammad as our Prophet." The Prophet then became quiet and said, "Paradise and Hell-fire were displayed in front of me on this wall just now and I have never seen a better thing (than the former) and a worse thing (than the latter)
ہم سے ابوالیمان حکم بن نافع نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعیب نے زہری کی روایت سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی کہ جب سورج ڈھلا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حجرہ سے باہر تشریف لائے اور ظہر کی نماز پڑھی۔ پھر منبر پر تشریف لائے۔ اور قیامت کا ذکر فرمایا۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ قیامت میں بڑے عظیم امور پیش آئیں گے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اگر کسی کو کچھ پوچھنا ہو تو پوچھ لے۔ کیونکہ جب تک میں اس جگہ پر ہوں تم مجھ سے جو بھی پوچھو گے۔ میں اس کا جواب ضرور دوں گا۔ لوگ بہت زیادہ رونے لگے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم برابر فرماتے جاتے تھے کہ جو کچھ پوچھنا ہو پوچھو۔ عبداللہ بن حذافہ سہمی کھڑے ہوئے اور دریافت کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے باپ کون ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تمہارے باپ حذافہ تھے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اب بھی برابر فرما رہے تھے کہ پوچھو کیا پوچھتے ہو۔ اتنے میں عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ادب سے گھٹنوں کے بل بیٹھ گئے اور انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ہم اللہ تعالیٰ کے مالک ہونے، اسلام کے دین ہونے اور محمد ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) کے نبی ہونے سے راضی اور خوش ہیں۔ ( پس اس گستاخی سے ہم باز آتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے جا اور بے جا سوالات کریں ) اس پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خاموش ہو گئے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ابھی ابھی میرے سامنے جنت اور جہنم اس دیوار کے کونے میں پیش کی گئی تھی۔ پس میں نے نہ ایسی کوئی عمدہ چیز دیکھی ( جیسی جنت تھی ) اور نہ کوئی ایسی بری چیز دیکھی ( جیسی دوزخ تھی ) ۔
Narrated Anas:The people mentioned the fire and the bell (they suggested those as signals to indicate the starting of prayers), and by that they mentioned the Jews and the Christians. Then Bilal was ordered to pronounce Adhan for the prayer by saying its wordings twice, and for the Iqama (the call for the actual standing for the prayers in rows) by saying its wordings once. (Iqama is pronounced when the people are ready for the prayer)
ہم سے عمران بن میسرہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عبدالوارث بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے خالد حذاء نے ابوقلابہ عبداللہ بن زید سے، انہوں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ ( نماز کے وقت کے اعلان کے لیے ) لوگوں نے آگ اور ناقوس کا ذکر کیا۔ پھر یہود و نصاریٰ کا ذکر آ گیا۔ پھر بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ حکم ہوا کہ اذان کے کلمات دو دو مرتبہ کہیں اور اقامت میں ایک ایک مرتبہ۔
Narrated Anas bin Malik:When the number of Muslims increased they discussed the question as to how to know the time for the prayer by some familiar means. Some suggested that a fire be lit (at the time of the prayer) and others put forward the proposal to ring the bell. Bilal was ordered to pronounce the wording of Adhan twice and of the Iqama once only
ہم سے محمد بن سلام نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالوہاب ثقفی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے خالد بن مہران حذاء نے ابوقلابہ عبدالرحمٰن بن زید حرمی سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ جب مسلمان زیادہ ہو گئے تو مشورہ ہوا کہ کسی ایسی چیز کے ذریعہ نماز کے وقت کا اعلان ہو جسے سب لوگ سمجھ لیں۔ کچھ لوگوں نے ذکر کیا کہ آگ روشن کی جائے۔ یا نرسنگا کے ذریعہ اعلان کریں۔ لیکن آخر میں بلال کو حکم دیا گیا کہ اذان کے کلمات دو دو دفعہ کہیں اور تکبیر کے ایک ایک دفعہ۔
