حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ، أَنَّ عَمَّهُ ـ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَرَجَ بِالنَّاسِ يَسْتَسْقِي لَهُمْ، فَقَامَ فَدَعَا اللَّهَ قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ تَوَجَّهَ قِبَلَ الْقِبْلَةِ، وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ فَأُسْقُوا‏.‏
Translation:

Narrated `Abbad bin Tamim:that his uncle (who was one of the companions of the Prophet) had told him, "The Prophet (ﷺ) went out with the people to invoke Allah for rain for them. He stood up and invoked Allah for rain, then faced the Qibla and turned his cloak (inside out) and it rained

اردو:

ہم سے ابوالیمان حکیم بن نافع نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں شعیب نے خبر دی، انہیں زہری نے، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے عباد بن تمیم نے بیان کیا کہ ان کے چچا عبداللہ بن زید نے جو صحابی تھے، انہیں خبر دی کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لوگوں کو ساتھ لے کر استسقاء کے لیے نکلے اور آپ کھڑے ہوئے اور کھڑے ہی کھڑے اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا کی، پھر قبلہ کی طرف منہ کر کے اپنی چادر پلٹی چنانچہ بارش خوب ہوئی۔
