حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُهْدِيَتْ لَهُ أَقْبِيَةٌ مِنْ دِيبَاجٍ مُزَرَّرَةٌ بِالذَّهَبِ، فَقَسَمَهَا فِي نَاسٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ، وَعَزَلَ مِنْهَا وَاحِدًا لِمَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، فَجَاءَ وَمَعَهُ ابْنُهُ الْمِسْوَرُ بْنُ مَخْرَمَةَ، فَقَامَ عَلَى الْبَابِ فَقَالَ ادْعُهُ لِي‏.‏ فَسَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَوْتَهُ فَأَخَذَ قَبَاءً فَتَلَقَّاهُ بِهِ وَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ بِأَزْرَارِهِ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ يَا أَبَا الْمِسْوَرِ، خَبَأْتُ هَذَا لَكَ، يَا أَبَا الْمِسْوَرِ، خَبَأْتُ هَذَا لَكَ ‏"‏‏.‏ وَكَانَ فِي خُلُقِهِ شِدَّةٌ‏.‏ وَرَوَاهُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ‏.‏ قَالَ حَاتِمُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ قَدِمَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَقْبِيَةٌ‏.‏ تَابَعَهُ اللَّيْثُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ‏.‏
Translation:

Narrated `Abdullah bin Abu Mulaika:Some silken cloaks with golden buttons were presented to the Prophet. He distributed them amongst his companions and kept one for Makhrama, bin Naufal. Later on Makhrama came along with his son Al-Miswar bin Makhrama, and stood up at the gate and said (to his son). "Call him (i.e. the Prophet) to me." The Prophet (ﷺ) heard his voice, took a silken cloak and brought it to him, placing those golden buttons in front of him saying, "O Abu-al-Miswar! I have kept this aside for you! O Abu-al Miswar! I have kept this aside for you!" Makhrama was a bad-tempered man

ہم سے عبداللہ بن عبدالوہاب نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے حماد بن زید نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ایوب سختیانی نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن ابی ملیکہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں دیبا کی کچھ قبائیں تحفہ کے طور پر آئی تھیں۔ جن میں سونے کی گھنڈیاں لگی ہوئی تھیں ‘ انہیں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے چند اصحاب میں تقسیم فرما دیا اور ایک قباء مخرمہ بن نوفل رضی اللہ عنہ کے لیے رکھ لی۔ پھر مخرمہ رضی اللہ عنہ آئے اور ان کے ساتھ ان کے صاحبزادے مسور بن مخرمہ رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے۔ آپ دروازے پر کھڑے ہو گئے اور کہا کہ میرا نام لے کر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بلا لا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کی آواز سنی تو قباء لے کر باہر تشریف لائے اور اس کی گھنڈیاں ان کے سامنے کر دیں۔ پھر فرمایا: ابومسور! یہ قباء میں نے تمہارے لیے چھپا کر رکھ لی تھی۔ مخرمہ رضی اللہ عنہ ذرا تیز طبیعت کے آدمی تھے۔ ابن علیہ نے ایوب کے واسطے سے یہ حدیث ( مرسلاً ہی ) روایت کی ہے۔ اور حاتم بن وردان نے بیان کیا کہ ہم سے ایوب نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابن ابی ملیکہ نے ان سے مسور رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے یہاں کچھ قبائیں آئیں تھیں ‘ اس روایت کی متابعت لیث نے ابن ابی ملیکہ سے کی ہے۔
