Narrated `Ali:I never saw the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Let my parents sacrifice their lives for you," to any man after Sa`d. I heard him saying (to him), "Throw (the arrows)! Let my parents sacrifice their lives for you
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، ان سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے سعد بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن شداد نے اور ان سے علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے (دوسری سند) ہم سے قبیصہ بن عقبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے سعد بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے عبداللہ بن شداد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، آپ بیان کرتے تھے کہ سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ کے بعد میں نے کسی کے متعلق نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نہیں سنا کہ آپ نے خود کو ان پر صدقے کیا ہو۔ میں نے سنا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرما رہے تھے: ”تیر برساؤ ( سعد ) تم پر میرے ماں باپ قربان ہوں۔“
