Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "There are three persons whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection, nor will he purify them and theirs shall be a severe punishment. They are: -1. A man who possessed superfluous water on a way and he withheld it from travelers. -2. A man who gave a pledge of allegiance to a ruler and he gave it only for worldly benefits. If the ruler gives him something he gets satisfied, and if the ruler withholds something from him, he gets dissatisfied. -3. And a man who displayed his goods for sale after the `Asr prayer and he said, 'By Allah, except Whom None has the right to be worshipped, I have been given so much for my goods,' and somebody believes him (and buys them). The Prophet (ﷺ) then recited: "Verily! Those who purchase a little gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths
ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عبدالواحد بن زیاد نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے ابوصالح سے سنا، وہ بیان کرتے تھے کہ میں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تین طرح کے لوگ وہ ہوں گے جن کی طرف قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ نظر بھی نہیں اٹھائے گا اور نہ انہیں پاک کرے گا، بلکہ ان کے لیے درد ناک عذاب ہو گا۔ ایک وہ شخص جس کے پاس راستے میں ضرورت سے زیادہ پانی ہو اور اس نے کسی مسافر کو اس کے استعمال سے روک دیا۔ دوسرا وہ شخص جو کسی حاکم سے بیعت صرف دنیا کے لیے کرے کہ اگر وہ حاکم اسے کچھ دے تو وہ راضی رہے ورنہ خفا ہو جائے۔ تیسرے وہ شخص جو اپنا ( بیچنے کا ) سامان عصر کے بعد لے کر کھڑا ہوا اور کہنے لگا کہ اس اللہ کی قسم جس کے سوا کوئی سچا معبود نہیں، مجھے اس سامان کی قیمت اتنی اتنی مل رہی تھی، اس پر ایک شخص نے اسے سچ سمجھا ( اور اس کی بتائی ہوئی قیمت پر اس سامان کو خرید لیا ) پھر آپ نے اس آیت کی تلاوت کی «إن الذين يشترون بعهد الله وأيمانهم ثمنا قليلا» ”جو لوگ اللہ کو درمیان میں دے کر اور جھوٹی قسمیں کھا کر دنیا کا تھوڑا سا مال مول لیتے ہیں“ آخر تک۔
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) got up amongst us and mentioned Al Ghulul, emphasized its magnitude and declared that it was a great sin saying, "Don't commit Ghulul for I should not like to see anyone amongst you on the Day of Resurrection, carrying over his neck a sheep that will be bleating, or carrying over his neck a horse that will be neighing. Such a man will be saying: 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Intercede with Allah for me,' and I will reply, 'I can't help you, for I have conveyed Allah's Message to you Nor should I like to see a man carrying over his neck, a camel that will be grunting. Such a man will say, 'O Allah's Apostle! Intercede with Allah for me, and I will say, 'I can't help you for I have conveyed Allah's Message to you,' or one carrying over his neck gold and silver and saying, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Intercede with Allah for me,' and I will say, 'I can't help you for I have conveyed Allah's Message to you,' or one carrying clothes that will be fluttering, and the man will say, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Intercede with Allah for me.' And I will say, 'I can't help you, for I have conveyed Allah's Message to you
ہم سے مسدد بن مسرہد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابوحیان نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابوزرعہ نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ مجھ سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں خطاب فرمایا اور غلول ( خیانت ) کا ذکر فرمایا ‘ اس جرم کی ہولناکی کو واضح کرتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ میں تم میں کسی کو بھی قیامت کے دن اس حالت میں نہ پاؤں کہ اس کی گردن پر بکری لدی ہوئی ہو اور وہ چلا رہی ہو یا اس کی گردن پر گھوڑا لدا ہوا ہو اور وہ چلا رہا ہو اور وہ شخص مجھ سے کہے کہ یا رسول اللہ! میری مدد فرمائیے۔ لیکن میں یہ جواب دے دوں کہ میں تمہاری کوئی مدد نہیں کر سکتا۔ میں تو ( اللہ کا پیغام ) تم تک پہنچا چکا تھا۔ اور اس کی گردن پر اونٹ لدا ہوا ہو اور چلا رہا ہو اور وہ شخص کہے کہ یا رسول اللہ! میری مدد فرمائیے۔ لیکن میں یہ جواب دے دوں کہ میں تمہاری کوئی مدد نہیں کر سکتا ‘ میں اللہ کا پیغام تمہیں پہنچا چکا تھا ‘ یا ( وہ اس حال میں آئے کہ ) وہ اپنی گردن پر سونا ‘ چاندی ‘ اسباب لادے ہوئے ہو اور وہ مجھ سے کہے کہ یا رسول اللہ! میری مدد فرمایئے ‘ لیکن میں اس سے یہ کہہ دوں کہ میں تمہاری کوئی مدد نہیں کر سکتا ‘ میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا پیغام تمہیں پہنچا چکا تھا۔ یا اس کی گردن پر کپڑے کے ٹکڑے ہوں جو اسے حرکت دے رہے ہوں اور وہ کہے کہ یا رسول اللہ! میری مدد کیجئے اور میں کہہ دوں کہ میں تمہاری کوئی مدد نہیں کر سکتا ‘ میں تو ( اللہ کا پیغام ) پہلے ہی پہنچا چکا تھا۔ اور ایوب سختیانی نے بھی ابوحیان سے روایت کیا ہے گھوڑا لادے دیکھوں جو ہنہنا رہا ہو۔
