Narrated `Urwa's father:Aisha said, "I borrowed a necklace from Asma' and it was lost. So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent a man to search for it and he found it. Then the time of the prayer became due and there was no water. They prayed (without ablution) and informed Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about it, so the verse of Tayammum was revealed." ہم سے سے زکریا بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبداللہ بن نمیر نے، کہا ہم سے ہشام بن عروہ نے، وہ اپنے والد سے، وہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے کہ انھوں نے اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا سے ہار مانگ کر پہن لیا تھا، وہ گم ہو گیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک آدمی کو اس کی تلاش کے لیے بھیجا، جسے وہ مل گیا۔ پھر نماز کا وقت آ پہنچا اور لوگوں کے پاس ( جو ہار کی تلاش میں گئے تھے ) پانی نہیں تھا۔ لوگوں نے نماز پڑھ لی اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کے متعلق شکایت کی۔ پس اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے تیمم کی آیت اتاری جسے سن کر اسید بن حضیر نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے کہا آپ کو اللہ بہترین بدلہ دے۔ واللہ جب بھی آپ کے ساتھ کوئی ایسی بات پیش آئی جس سے آپ کو تکلیف ہوئی تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کے لیے اور تمام مسلمانوں کے لیے اس میں خیر پیدا فرما دی۔
Narrated Sa`id bin `Abdur Rahman bin Abza:(on the authority of his father who said) `Ammar said so (the above Statement). And Shu`ba stroked lightly the earth with his hands and brought them close to his mouth (blew off the dust) and passed them over his face and then the backs of his hands. `Ammar said, "Ablution (meaning Tayammum here) is sufficient for a Muslim if water is not available
ہم سے حجاج بن منہال نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے کہا کہ مجھے حکم بن عیینہ نے خبر دی ذر بن عبداللہ سے، وہ سعید بن عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزیٰ سے، وہ اپنے باپ سے کہ عمار نے یہ واقعہ بیان کیا ( جو پہلے گزر چکا ) اور شعبہ نے اپنے ہاتھوں کو زمین پر مارا۔ پھر انہیں اپنے منہ کے قریب کر لیا ( اور پھونکا ) پھر ان سے اپنے چہرے اور پہنچوں کا مسح کیا اور نضر بن شمیل نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے شعبہ نے خبر دی حکم سے کہ میں نے ذر بن عبداللہ سے سنا، وہ سعید بن عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزیٰ کے حوالہ سے حدیث روایت کرتے تھے۔ حکم نے کہا کہ میں نے یہ حدیث ابن عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزی سے سنی، وہ اپنے والد کے حوالہ سے بیان کرتے تھے کہ عمار نے کہا ( جو پہلے مذکور ہوا ) ۔
Narrates `Abdullah bin Shaddad:Maimuna said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was praying while I was in my menses, sitting beside him and sometimes his clothes would touch me during his prostration." Maimuna added, "He prayed on a Khumra (a small mat sufficient just for the face and the hands while prostrating during prayers)
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا خالد سے، کہا کہ ہم سے سلیمان شیبانی نے بیان کیا عبداللہ بن شداد سے، انہوں نے میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے، آپ نے فرمایا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھتے اور حائضہ ہونے کے باوجود میں ان کے سامنے ہوتی، اکثر جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سجدہ کرتے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا کپڑا مجھے چھو جاتا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( کھجور کے پتوں سے بنے ہوئے ایک چھوٹے سے ) مصلے پر نماز پڑھتے تھے۔
Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to Fatima's house but did not find `Ali there. So he asked, "Where is your cousin?" She replied, "There was something between us and he got angry with me and went out. He did not sleep (midday nap) in the house." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) asked a person to look for him. That person came and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! He (Ali) is sleeping in the mosque." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went there and `Ali was lying. His upper body cover had fallen down to one side of his body and he was covered with dust. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) started cleaning the dust from him saying: "Get up! O Aba Turab. Get up! O Aba Turab (literally means: O father of dust)
ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالعزیز بن ابی حازم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے اپنے باپ ابوحازم سہل بن دینار سے، انہوں نے سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے گھر تشریف لائے دیکھا کہ علی رضی اللہ عنہ گھر میں موجود نہیں ہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دریافت فرمایا کہ تمہارے چچا کے بیٹے کہاں ہیں؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ میرے اور ان کے درمیان کچھ ناگواری پیش آ گئی اور وہ مجھ پر خفا ہو کر کہیں باہر چلے گئے ہیں اور میرے یہاں قیلولہ بھی نہیں کیا ہے۔ اس کے بعد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص سے کہا کہ علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو تلاش کرو کہ کہاں ہیں؟ وہ آئے اور بتایا کہ مسجد میں سوئے ہوئے ہیں۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے۔ علی رضی اللہ عنہ لیٹے ہوئے تھے، چادر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پہلو سے گر گئی تھی اور جسم پر مٹی لگ گئی تھی۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جسم سے دھول جھاڑ رہے تھے اور فرما رہے تھے اٹھو ابوتراب اٹھو۔
Narrated Abu Burda bin `Abdullah:(on the authority of his father) The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever passes through our mosques or markets with arrows should hold them by their heads lest he should injure a Muslim
ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہ کہا ہم سے عبدالواحد بن زیاد نے کہ کہا ہم سے ابوبردہ بن عبداللہ نے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے اپنے والد (ابوموسیٰ اشعری صحابی) سے سنا وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے تھے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اگر کوئی شخص ہماری مساجد یا ہمارے بازاروں میں تیر لیے ہوئے چلے تو ان کے پھل تھامے رہے، ایسا نہ ہو کہ اپنے ہاتھوں سے کسی مسلمان کو زخمی کر دے۔
Narrated `Aisha:(the wife of the Prophet) I had seen my parents following Islam since I attained the age of puberty. Not a day passed but the Prophet (ﷺ) visited us, both in the mornings and evenings. My father Abu Bakr thought of building a mosque in the courtyard of his house and he did so. He used to pray and recite the Qur'an in it. The pagan women and their children used to stand by him and look at him with surprise. Abu Bakr was a Softhearted person and could not help weeping while reciting the Qur'an. The chiefs of the Quraish pagans became afraid of that (i.e. that their children and women might be affected by the recitation of Qur'an)
ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے عقیل کے واسطہ سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابن شہاب زہری سے، انہوں نے کہا مجھے عروہ بن زبیر نے خبر دی کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بتلایا کہ میں نے جب سے ہوش سنبھالا تو اپنے ماں باپ کو مسلمان ہی پایا اور ہم پر کوئی دن ایسا نہیں گزرا جس میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم صبح و شام دن کے دونوں وقت ہمارے گھر تشریف نہ لائے ہوں۔ پھر ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کی سمجھ میں ایک ترکیب آئی تو انہوں نے گھر کے سامنے ایک مسجد بنا لی، وہ اس میں نماز پڑھتے اور قرآن مجید کی تلاوت کرتے۔ مشرکین کی عورتیں اور ان کے بچے وہاں تعجب سے سنتے اور کھڑے ہو جاتے اور آپ کی طرف دیکھتے رہتے۔ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ بڑے رونے والے آدمی تھے۔ جب قرآن کریم پڑھتے تو آنسوؤں پر قابو نہ رہتا، قریش کے مشرک سردار اس صورت حال سے گھبرا گئے۔
Narrated Fudail bin Sulaiman:Musa bin `Uqba said, "I saw Salim bin `Abdullah looking for some places on the way and prayed there. He narrated that his father used to pray there, and had seen the Prophet (ﷺ) praying at those very places." Narrated Nafi` on the authority of Ibn `Umar who said, "I used to pray at those places." Musa the narrator added, "I asked Salim on which he said, 'I agree with Nafi` concerning those places, except the mosque situated at the place called Sharaf Ar-Rawha
ہم سے محمد بن ابی بکر مقدمی نے بیان کیا کہا ہم سے فضیل بن سلیمان نے، کہا ہم سے موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے، کہا میں نے سالم بن عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو دیکھا کہ وہ ( مدینہ سے مکہ تک ) راستے میں کئی جگہوں کو ڈھونڈھ کر وہاں نماز پڑھتے اور کہتے کہ ان کے باپ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بھی ان مقامات پر نماز پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ اور انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ان مقامات پر نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے اور موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے کہا کہ مجھ سے نافع نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے متعلق بیان کیا کہ وہ ان مقامات پر نماز پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ اور میں نے سالم سے پوچھا تو مجھے خوب یاد ہے کہ انہوں نے بھی نافع کے بیان کے مطابق ہی تمام مقامات کا ذکر کیا۔ فقط مقام شرف روحاء کی مسجد کے متعلق دونوں نے اختلاف کیا۔
Narrated `Aun bin Abi Juhaifa:I heard my father saying, "The Prophet (ﷺ) led us, and prayed a two-rak`at Zuhr prayer and then a two-rak` at `Asr prayer at Al-Batha' [??] with a short spear (planted) in front of him (as a Sutra) while women and donkeys were passing in front of him (beyond that stick)
ہم سے ابوالولید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا عون بن ابی حجیفہ سے، کہا میں نے اپنے باپ (وہب بن عبداللہ) سے سنا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو بطحاء میں نماز پڑھائی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے عنزہ ( ڈنڈا جس کے نیچے پھل لگا ہوا ہو ) گاڑ دیا گیا تھا۔ ( چونکہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسافر تھے اس لیے ) ظہر کی دو رکعت اور عصر کی دو رکعت ادا کیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے سے عورتیں اور گدھے گزر رہے تھے۔
Narrated `Aun bin Abi Juhaifa:that he had heard his father saying, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to us at midday and water was brought for his ablution. He performed ablution and led us in Zuhr and `Asr prayers with a short spear (or stick) planted in front of him (as a Sutra), while women and donkeys were passing beyond it
ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عون بن ابی حجیفہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے اپنے باپ ابوحجیفہ وہب بن عبداللہ سے سنا انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دوپہر کے وقت باہر تشریف لائے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں وضو کا پانی پیش کیا گیا، جس سے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا۔ پھر ہمیں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ظہر کی نماز پڑھائی اور عصر کی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے عنزہ گاڑ دیا گیا تھا اور عورتیں اور گدھے پر سوار لوگ اس کے پیچھے سے گزر رہے تھے۔
Narrated Ibn Shihab:Once `Umar bin `Abdul `Aziz delayed the prayer and `Urwa bin Az-Zubair went to him and said, "Once in 'Iraq, Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba delayed his prayers and Abi Mas`ud Al-Ansari went to him and said, 'O Mughira! What is this? Don't you know that once Gabriel came and offered the prayer (Fajr prayer) and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) prayed too, then he prayed again (Zuhr prayer) and so did Allah's Apostle and again he prayed (`Asr prayers and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) did the same; again he prayed (Maghrib-prayer) and so did Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and again prayed (`Isha prayer) and so did Allah's Apostle and (Gabriel) said, 'I was ordered to do so (to demonstrate the prayers prescribed to you)?'" `Umar (bin `Abdul `Aziz) said to `Urwa, "Be sure of what you Say. Did Gabriel lead Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) at the stated times of the prayers?" `Urwa replied, "Bashir bin Abi Mas`ud narrated like this on the authority of his father." `Urwa added, "Aisha told me that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to pray `Asr prayer when the sunshine was still inside her residence (during the early time of `Asr)
