Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "Anyone of you coming for the Jumua prayer should take a bath
ہم سے ابوالیمان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں شعیب نے زہری سے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے سالم بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے (اپنے والد) عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا وہ فرماتے تھے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا کہ تم میں سے جو شخص جمعہ پڑھنے آئے تو غسل کرے۔
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained the age of puberty
ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ قعنبی نے بیان کیا، ان سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے صفوان بن سلیم نے، ان سے عطاء بن یسار نے، ان سے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہر بالغ کے اوپر جمعہ کے دن غسل واجب ہے۔
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said "We are the last (to come amongst the nations) but (will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection. They were given the Holy Scripture before us and we were given the Quran after them. And this was the day (Friday) about which they differed and Allah gave us the guidance (for that). So tomorrow (i.e. Saturday) is the Jews' (day), and the day after tomorrow (i.e. Sunday) is the Christians'." The Prophet (ﷺ) remained silent (for a while) and then said, "It is obligatory for every Muslim that he should take a bath once in seven days, when he should wash his head and body
ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے وہیب بن خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عبداللہ بن طاؤس نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے باپ طاؤس نے، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہم ( دنیا میں ) تو بعد میں آئے لیکن قیامت کے دن سب سے آگے ہوں گے، فرق صرف یہ ہے کہ یہود و نصاریٰ کو کتاب ہم سے پہلے دی گئی اور ہمیں بعد میں۔ تو یہ دن ( جمعہ ) وہ ہے جس کے بارے میں اہل کتاب نے اختلاف کیا، اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمیں یہ دن بتلا دیا ( اس کے بعد ) دوسرا دن ( ہفتہ ) یہود کا دن ہے اور تیسرا دن ( اتوار ) نصاریٰ کا۔ آپ پھر خاموش ہو گئے۔

Narrated Abu Huraira through different narrators that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is Allah's right on every Muslim that he should take a bath (at least) once in seven days
اس حدیث کی روایت ابان بن صالح نے مجاہد سے کی ہے، ان سے طاؤس نے، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا ہر مسلمان پر حق ہے کہ ہر سات دن میں ایک دن ( جمعہ ) غسل کرے۔
Narrated Ibn `Umar:One of the wives of `Umar (bin Al-Khattab) used to offer the Fajr and the `Isha' prayer in congregation in the Mosque. She was asked why she had come out for the prayer as she knew that `Umar disliked it, and he has great ghaira (self-respect). She replied, "What prevents him from stopping me from this act?" The other replied, "The statement of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) : 'Do not stop Allah's women-slaves from going to Allah's Mosques' prevents him
ہم سے یوسف بن موسیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابواسامہ نے بیان کیا کہا کہ ہم سے عبیداللہ ابن عمر نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے، انہوں نے کہا کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی ایک بیوی تھیں جو صبح اور عشاء کی نماز جماعت سے پڑھنے کے لیے مسجد میں آیا کرتی تھیں۔ ان سے کہا گیا کہ باوجود اس علم کے کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ اس بات کو مکروہ جانتے ہیں اور وہ غیرت محسوس کرتے ہیں پھر آپ مسجد میں کیوں جاتی ہیں۔ اس پر انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ پھر وہ مجھے منع کیوں نہیں کر دیتے۔ لوگوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اس حدیث کی وجہ سے کہ اللہ کی بندیوں کو اللہ کی مسجدوں میں آنے سے مت روکو۔
Narrated Muhammad bin Seereen:On a rainy day Ibn `Abbas said to his Mu'adh-dhin, "After saying, 'Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah' (I testify that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)), do not say 'Haiya 'Alas-Salat' (come for the prayer) but say 'Pray in your houses'." (The man did so). But the people disliked it. Ibn `Abbas said, "It was done by one who was much better than I (i.e. the Prophet (ﷺ) ). No doubt, the Jumua prayer is compulsory but I dislike to put you to task by bringing you out walking in mud and slush
ہم سے مسدد بن مسرہد نے بیان کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے اسماعیل بن علیہ بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں صاحب الزیادی عبدالحمید نے خبر دی، کہا کہ ہم سے محمد بن سیرین کے چچازاد بھائی عبداللہ بن حارث نے بیان کیا کہ عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے اپنے مؤذن سے ایک دفعہ بارش کے دن کہا کہ «أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله» کے بعد «حى على الصلاة» ( نماز کی طرف آؤ ) نہ کہنا بلکہ یہ کہنا کہ «صلوا في بيوتكم» ( اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھ لو ) لوگوں نے اس بات پر تعجب کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ اسی طرح مجھ سے بہتر انسان ( رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) نے کیا تھا۔ بیشک جمعہ فرض ہے اور میں مکروہ جانتا ہوں کہ تمہیں گھروں سے باہر نکال کر مٹی اور کیچڑ پھسلوان میں چلاؤں۔
Narrated Yahya bin Sa`id:I asked `Amra about taking a bath on Fridays. She replied, " Aisha said, 'The people used to work (for their livelihood) and whenever they went for the Jumua prayer, they used to go to the mosque in the same shape as they had been in work. So they were asked to take a bath on Friday
ہم سے عبدان عبداللہ بن عثمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہمیں عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، کہا کہ ہمیں یحیٰی بن سعید نے خبر دی کہ انہوں نے عمرہ بنت عبدالرحمٰن سے جمعہ کے دن غسل کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی تھیں کہ لوگ اپنے کاموں میں مشغول رہتے اور جمعہ کے لیے اسی حالت ( میل کچیل ) میں چلے آتے، اس لیے ان سے کہا گیا کہ کاش تم لوگ ( کبھی ) غسل کر لیا کرتے۔
Narrated Anas bin Malik:The Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer the Jumua prayer immediately after midday
ہم سے سریج بن نعمان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے فلیح بن سلیمان نے بیان کیا، ان سے عثمان بن عبدالرحمٰن بن عثمان تیمی نے بیان کیا، ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جمعہ کی نماز اس وقت پڑھتے جب سورج ڈھل جاتا۔
Narrated Anas bin Malik:We used to offer the Jumua prayer early and then have an afternoon nap
ہم سے عبدان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہمیں عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، کہا کہ ہمیں حمید طویل نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے خبر دی۔ آپ نے فرمایا کہ ہم جمعہ سویرے پڑھ لیا کرتے اور جمعہ کے بعد آرام کرتے تھے۔
